Lake Whitney Marina is a privately-owned and operated business in Texas. This full-service marina operates year-round on Lake Whitney and provides fuel, wet slips, dry storage, a floating store, indoor fishing, boat ramps, cabins, campsites, and other facilities and services to the public.

Lake Whitney is a flood control reservoir in the Brazos River basin that's under the authority of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The reservoir has a maximum depth of 108 feet, a surface area of more than 23,500 acres, and a shoreline of approximately 225 miles.

Land surrounding the reservoir is owned by the government. Private property that is "waterfront" or "lakefront" does not have direct access to the water; it borders government land.

Activities or events planned at Corps lakes may require permission/permit from the local project office, such as fishing tournaments, boat regattas, races, water carnivals, festivals, weddings, group picnics, reunions, charitable events, youth group camping trips, club meetings and outings, workshops, or commercial events.
