OCTOBER 2004 - Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove receives the prestigious  "Marina of the Year" award at the 32nd Annual Marina Association of Texas (M.A.T.) conference.

Lake Whitney Marina Receives "Clean Texas Marina" Certification

JULY 2003 - Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove officially designated as a "Certified Clean Texas Marina” in recognition of its environmental stewardship.

The Clean Marina program recognizes marinas for their efforts in environmental responsibility and permits boaters to identify those marinas promoting clean activities and following best management practices.

This joint project of the Texas Sea Grant College Program, Marina Association of Texas, Texas General Land Office (GLO), and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) encourages marina operators and recreational boaters to protect coastal water quality by engaging in environmentally sound operating and maintenance procedures.
