Marina Facilities:  Indoor Fishing

Catch crappie, catfish, black bass, and white bass at Lake Whitney Marina's indoor fishing area. Whether you are a first-timer or seasoned angler, try your luck at hooking a 35" long catfish in our deep water marina. Lake Whitney Marina operates year-round.

This full-service marina is located mid-lake between the dam and the mouth of the Brazos River. It's also near the main channel of this 108' deep, USACE-controlled reservoir. At normal lake levels, our floating dock sits on over forty feet of water.

Bait, tackle, snacks, drinks, ice, and more are available at the ship's store. Don't forget to bring your fishing rod, knife, baggies for cleaned fish, camera, and state fishing license!
